Sacrebleu! France recently introduced a new dietary guideline for elementary school students which limits the use of a favorite American condiment: ketchup.

Students will be allowed to eat ketchup only once a week when served french fries. And ketchup on traditional French dishes is now considered a faux pas of the highest order.

Officials say the condiment has been banned in order to promote healthy eating and combat obesity. Yet, inexplicably, mayonnaise remains on the menu.
