If you saw Fleetwood Mac's reunion show in Denver earlier this month, pop your collar.  You attended the most expensive concert tour of 2014.  According to a recent Forbes article, Fleetwood Mac's latest tour was the hottest ticket of the year on the secondary market (ticket scalpers).

The average Fleetwood Mac ticket sold on the secondary market during their 40 United States tour dates this year cost nearly $360. That's over $60 more than the average secondary market ticket price of the runner up, pop star Justin Timberlake.

Secondary market ticket prices for other classic rockers weren't far behind.  The Eagles had the third most expensive ticket of 2014, with an average price of $272.  Paul McCartney's summer stadium tour boasted an average secondary market price of $242 per ticket.  Check out the full list of the 2014's Most Expensive Tours here.

Of course, scalpers on the secondary market wouldn't be charging that much if people weren't willing to pay the price.  Which got us wondering, what's the most expensive concert ticket you've ever bought?

We posted that question on our Facebook page and here's some of the comments we received:

  • Chris Jenkins I would never pay that much to see one band, no matter who it is. The most expensive concert I've been to was George Strait at Cheyenne Frontier Days for $75!
  • Ann Robinson Lucas We paid a good bit for Fleetwood Mac (really good seat!). Most expensive is a toss-up between Fleetwood Mac a couple weeks ago or Van Halen reunion in Vegas December 2007. Both were nearly $200. Cheapest: I saw Bo Didley at ChicagoFest many years ago for free.
  • David Heath Styx $295 per, reserved seating. This is a lil basement bar. Real up close and personal. If it wasn't for being on my birthday, we would not be going. The $635 for 2 nights for the hotel too.
  • Jerry Lee Back in the 70's, tickets were 5 bucks in advance, 6 day of show. I think the Clapton-Winwood tickets were 150
