The Squirrel Creek Fire southwest of Laramie has consumed more than 7,000 acres, and prompted hundreds of evacuations. The Fontenelle Fire in the Bridger-Teton National Forest is now at just over 52,000 acres. And fire crews from Oregon and Washington State are handling suppression duties in a fire north of Newcastle.
