No human injuries were reported at a trailer fire west of Casper on Wednesday afternoon, but several dogs may be hurt, a Natrona County Fire Protection District spokesman said.

"We've got a fully involved trailer house," Fire Marshal Bob Fawcett said. One of the nearby camper trailers was burning, too, he said.

The call came in about 3 p.m.

Crews from the fire protection district and Mills responded to the location on a two-track road about two miles north of U.S. Highway 20-26 and about six miles west of the Casper-Natrona County International Airport, Fawcett said.

"It's a little rough getting in here," he said.

The owner of the trailer house has 39 dogs at the scene, and a couple of them may be hurt, Fawcett said. "I don't even know why they have all these dogs."

The cause was unknown as of Wednesday afternoon, he said.
