Strong winds and very warm temperatures will make for very high to extreme fire danger in many portions of the state again today.  Strong west winds gusting as high as 40 mph and low relative humidity in much of southern and central Wyoming has lead to a Red Flag Warning in some areas through 7pm tonight.

At the same time a cold front will cross the state today.  Northern Wyoming will experience cooler conditions, strong mainly north winds and a few scattered thunderstorms due to the front.  This front heads further south later today and could cause a few isolated gusty thunderstorms on the eastern plains this evening and tonight.

The weekend will start off cooler with highs mainly in the 70s to lower 80s.  It is a short lived cooling trend, however.  By Sunday temperatures climb back into the 80s and lower 90s.
