The final police report is in on the incident that threw Casper College into lockdown on Monday. And there is still some question as to whether there really was a threat.

A witness was walking through the parking lot in front of Liesenger Hall and saw two men with beards sitting in a white Jeep. They were staring straight ahead, and she saw what she thought was the wooden stock of a rifle across one man’s lap.

She called security and Casper Police and Natrona County Sheriff’s deputies responded. But they were unable to find the vehicle in question.

After a brief lockdown, the campus was opened again, and the question of whether there actually was a threat is still unanswered.
