For the eighth year, the music of Jimi Hendrix will be celebrated with the all-star Experience Hendrix tour. The organizers just announced a few more concerts, as well as some of the special guests that will be joining them in certain cities.

Brad Whitford of Aerosmith and Robby Krieger of the Doors are two of the biggest names added to the bill. Rich Robinson of the Black Crowes, Taj Mahal and Quinn Sullivan will also make several appearances. They join guitarists such as Buddy Guy, Zakk Wylde, Bootsy Collins and Kenny Wayne Shepherd, with a rhythm section of Billy Cox and Chris Layton.

The tour will now begin on March 8 in Shawnee, Okla., and conclude on April 8 in Minneapolis. The new tour dates include a second stop in Milwaukee, where the March 16 show has already sold out. Check the Experience Hendrix tour's website for the complete list of dates and the lineup for that evening's performance.
