UPDATE:  Ashley Marcum and her children have been recovered in the city of Gillette.  According to a Gillette Police Department spokesperson, the children were recovered Friday afternoon and have been turned over to the custody of the Department of Family Services.  No arrests have been made in the case thus far.  The investigation is on-going.

Wyoming law enforcement officials have issued an “endangered person advisory,’ for children taken from Department of Family Services custody by their biological mother. According to the Gillette Police Department, authorities believe 29-year-old Ashley Marcum is attempting to take her two young boys out of state.  Gillette Police officials say it is possible that Marcum could be traveling to the Utah or Colorado areas.

She is suspected of traveling with her two young boys in a green, 1994 Dodge Intrepid four-door sedan with Wyoming license plates 17-44514.

People with information as to the whereabouts of the Marcum, the children or the Dodge Intrepid are asked to call the Gillette Police Department: 307-682-5155
