Casper Police Detectives say they are looking for two people of interest who may have entered an elderly lady's home and stolen some money.

Detective John Hatcher with the Casper Police Department says last week, an 87-year old woman living on the 2500 block of 9th Street, had a man and woman visit her, asking if she needed any chores done.

She turned them away, but back on Sunday, October 2nd they returned and pressured her again.

In between visits, the woman had gone to the bank, and put some money in a desk drawer in her home.

She only allowed the two to enter her home to use the restroom, and sometime afterwards, she discovered about $330 was gone.

Hatcher says the two visitors gave the woman first names of Brian and Isabel, and some reference numbers, but it's possible that the information was false.

As for a description of the two...

"She described the male at 5'5", had a faint mustache, light brown hair, about 150 pounds. The female was also about 5'5" light colored hair, possibly blonde, round face, glasses and she was about 150-160 pounds also."

Anyone who may have information about these two, are asked to contact the Casper Police Department.

Officers want to remind the public to never let someone you don't know into your house.
