Dumervil joins Ravens, says it was time for change.  Three-time Pro Bowl defensive end Elvis Dumervil says he left the Denver Broncos for the Super Bowl champion Baltimore Ravens because he was looking to play for a winner in a different city.

Dumervil passed his physical and signed a five-year contract with the Ravens on Tuesday. The 6-foot, 260-pounder was introduced at a news conference in which he said, "Going to a winning organization was important."

He had said nothing bad about his former team. It's just that he was ready to leave after a fax snafu led to his release from the Broncos.

Dumervil says, "I just felt it was a time to change scenery."

The Ravens welcomed him after an offseason in which they lost free agents Ed Reed, Paul Kruger, Dannell Ellerbe and Cary Williams. (AP)
