Drunken Rocker Arrested For Waving Gun At Elvis’s Home 37 Years Ago Today

On this date in 1976, Rocker Jerry Lee Lewis was arrested outside Graceland in Memphis for public drunkenness and waving a pistol and demanding to see "The King."

The guard at the gate called the police and there was some talk that Elvis watched the arrest go down on his closed circuit monitors in the house, 37 years ago today.
