But a friend talked him into auditioning for a rock band and he ended up pioneering that powerful dual drummer setup that really fattened up the rhythm section.

We lost a Wyoming brother 3 years ago today.

Big Mike started playing drums in a Boy Scout Drum & Bugle Corp.  He served us for 4 years in Vietnam and almost went into a career in law enforcement. But a friend talked him into auditioning for a rock band and he ended up pioneering that powerful dual drummer setup that really fattened up the rhythm section.

It was March 12 of 2012 we lost Doobie Brothers drummer Michael Hossack of cancer at his home in Dubois, WY. He was 65 years old.

Thanks for your service and the great music Michael.
