Dillon Martin Admits To Bank Robbery

A Casper teen is now admitting that he robbed a federal credit union.

Dillon Martin has pleaded guilty to one charge of armed robbery.

Casper Police say in late August, Martin entered the River Rail Community Federal Credit Union on South Wolcott Street in Casper, pointed a knife at employees and told them to fill up the backpack.

He then fled the area, and police were unable to find him.

A couple of weeks later, detectives received information that Martin had been spending a large sum of money around town, including $10,000 in cash for a car, as well as new expensive clothes and was not working.

When interviewed, Martin confessed to the robbery and that he was acting alone at the time.

He is free on $50,000 bond and could receive five-to-25 years in prison at the time of his sentencing, which will be handed down at a later date.
