UPDATE: Daryl Hall has posted the following message to the club's Facebook page. "Last night about 4:00 AM , there was an electrical fire, apparently emanating from the sign on the facade of the club. It was extinguished by about 5:00 AM. The damage was minimal and only the exterior barn boards were burned or scorched. Absolutely NO damage occurred to any other part of the building or any part of the interior. We should be up and running as normal this week. Thanks to all concerned - Daryl"

Early this morning (July 4), a two-alarm fire struck Daryl's House, the Pawling, N.Y., restaurant and music club owned by Daryl Hall of Hall & Oates. The full extent of the damage and the cause are unknown at this time.

As noted on their Facebook page, the Eastern Dutchess County Fire and Rescue responded to a call at 4:14AM Eastern. At 4:58, they left a comment saying that the "fire appears to be knocked down. Contained to front of structure," which was confirmed seven minutes later. They received help from fire companies of the neighboring towns of Patterson and Beekman, while Dover, East Fishkill and Sherman, Conn., served as backup.

Hall opened up the venue in October 2015. In addition to bringing in local and national acts, it serves as the setting for the acclaimed Live From Daryl's House series, which airs on Palladia. Prior to its opening, the show, which debuted in 2007, was filmed at his actual house in Millerton, N.Y. But his desire to expand the homey vibe of the show prompted the creation of the club. “Why not just play music at my house and let people see what musicians are really like, when they are relaxed, and among friends,” he says on the club's website. "At the same time, although people could see me at home, there was no way to invite everybody over to have some food and watch us musicians play. We can all hang out, drink some wine, have a good time and listen to some great music.”

The menu includes signature cocktails, pasta, seafood, steaks and, in a nod to his hometown, a Philly cheesesteak sandwich. There is also a dish called "Half roasted chicken a la Joe Walsh."
