There are times I like to watch others dance, like when Von Miller does a Sac Dance after taking out a quarterback. But now Mr. Miller is gonna bust a move on the hardwood instead of the turf. Denver Broncos Super Bowl 50 MVP linebacker Von Miller will be a contestant on the 22nd season of Dancing with the Stars, according 7 News Denver and a Mike Klis Tweet for 9News in Denve . (Boy, was I surprised at the haters and idiots that crawled out to trash the 9 News tweet.)

While one of our neighbors from Colorado will be on the ABC program, it got me thinking about how there haven't been any Wyomingites on the show. That said, The Cowboy State has generated plenty of local Dancing With the Stars events in Cheyenne, Casper, Jackson, and Lander. And then there was the time that former contestant, and almost Royal, Pippa Middleton brought her moves to Wyoming. Have you been to or competed in one of these?

Dancing is a great way to exercise and stay in shape, and maybe even a performance enhancer for the rest of your life, on or off the field. Von will be the latest NFL player to dance, dance, dance to impress the judges. Other NFL players Emmitt Smith, Kurt Warner, Jerry Rice and former Green Bay Packer, wide receiver and last season’s winner, Donald Driver put their moves on small screen for DWTS in the past.

It’s always good to see athletic stars who can keep up with their professional partners instead of just kind of being an anchor while the other does all of the actual work. Then again, it’s always nice to see some stars on a show called “Dancing With The Stars.” If you would a preview, here’s Von two days after his amazing Super Bowl appearance on The Late Late Show with James Corden.
