Real Name- Crystal Paulsen
Profession- Owner Paulsen’s Pro Service, Janitorial. Full time wife and mommy.
How Long Have You Been Skating- I have been skating off and on since I was 6 but only recently started again in the past 2 or 3 years.
Why Derby- Why not?? I had only heard about it at the end of last session and thought it sounded like something fun to go watch, and then when there was open enrollment in December, Heather Smith had invited my husband and I to come out and try and I’ve been loving it ever since!
What positive aspects has derby brought to your life- Derby has made me more social and out going, it has helped me accept my body as it is because you don’t have to be a set size to be awesome and kick butt!!
I can’t leave the house without- Keys!! My Phone and my family.
Likes- My husband and kids(loves!!), reading, drawing, crafting/sewing, SOCKS (never thought I would be obsessed with socks lol)
Dislikes- Drama, early mornings , doing laundry that never seems to end, fake people.
Non Derby hobbies/activities/hidden talent- I guess I kinda covered that with my likes but I love to sew and I’m a fairly good artist, I’m also pretty good with computers and like to mess around with them as often as I can. I like to read and if I get a good book it’s done in about 2 days. I like to go camping as often as possible in the summer.
