The second half of the season for the University of Wyoming Cowboys Men's Basketball Team has been a struggle. Saddled with injuries and sickness the Cowboys (19-12, 4-12) have had a rough second half of thier season ending a 5 game losing streak with last night victory.. Last night the Pokes brought thier A game to the Mountain West Conference Tournament defeating Nevada 85-81 with Sophmore forward Larry Nance Jr. scoring a season high 19 points and Senior Leonard Washington dropping in 18 points and five rebounds to extend the Cowboys season to one more game.

Tonight, by virture of thier victory the Cowboys will play the Conference Tournament's number one seed in the New Mexico Lobos (26-5, 13-3) at 7:30 in Las Vegas. That game can be heard on our sister station AM 1030 KTWO.
