It was a game that went from pretty ugly to pretty dramatic to a pretty big win, as Wyoming beat Boise State, 79-78, in overtime Saturday night.

Wyoming was kept in the game by senior Hayden Dalton in the first half. They still trailed by 16 at halftime.

An early surge in the second half got them right back in the game, but the Cowboys struggled at times at the free throw line when they tried to close it out.

In the end, even after a slow start in the extra period, UW found a way to finish a tough three-game stretch to begin Mountain West play 2-1.

Sophomore Cody Kelley and seniors Louis Adams and Hayden Dalton took part in the post-game press conference. They talked about the changes they made, their perseverance and how big that win was.

Even head coach Allen Edwards said it wasn't a lot of screaming and yelling that made the difference at halftime. He stated it was playing their game and digging in defensively.
