You would think that the University of Wyoming Cowboys, who are currently undefeated, would need a break. Down 19 points to Illinois State in a Mountain West/Missouri Valley Challenge , on the road, in front of a huge, hostile crowd. The boys would say..."ok we're out of this one. Lets mail it in and go home with our first loss." But Noooooooooooo! Larry Shyatt's University of Wyoming Cowboy basketball team said "we ain't gonna' lose this one." The Cowboys then went on a terror! The Cowboys outscored the Redbirds, 36-7, in the last 12 minutes! The Pokes rolled the Redbirds 81-67.

Wyoming (9-0) placed all five starters in double figures, Luke Martinez scored 17 points for Wyoming, while Leonard Washington and Josh Adams each added 15 and Derrious Gilmore had 13. The Cowboys shot 64 percent from the field in the second half to finish the game at 54 percent.

I'm thinking this Cowboy team is "for real." Believe it my basketball friends. This team is chomping at the bit to get into Conference play. By the way. There are 3 teams in the Mountain West Conference in the AP Top 25. Whats on the agenda for this Wyoming Team? The Pokes take on Panhandle State Saturday.
