Policemen and Women take an oath to Serve and Protect the public, which we expect from our peace officers. When we run across an occasional officer that's on the wrong side of the law, it shocks and becomes a big deal.

The toughest job there is on earth and these men  and women have to moonlight, for what ever reason, but still it's no excuse for the behavior exhibited by an Officer of the Law.
