Baseball is as American as apple pie. This season, the Colorado Rockies will combine two of the country's most iconic traditions with a new concessions snack called "apple pie nachos".

As the name suggests, "apple pie nachos" will feature cinnamon flavored chips, stuffed with apple slices, then topped with nacho cheese, whipped cream and caramel.

It's the latest culinary creation from Aramark, the food service provider that operates concessions at Coors Field and nine other ballparks across the country.

Last year, they introduced several "bizarre foods" inspired by television host Andrew Zimmern, including a "Lamb Koefte Burrito" and the "Korean Fried Pork Belly Sandwich".
