Colin Jost To Replace Seth Meyers On SNL’s Weekend Update

Colin Jost, head writer for Saturday Night has been picked to replace Seth Meyers on ‘Weekend Update.”Jost joined SNL in 2005 and became head writer in 2012. Cecily Strong will join as co-anchor of the immensely popular segment on March 1st. Jost is following Meyers and Tina Fey as head writers to host Weekend Update.

Meyers is set to leave SNL on February 1. Late Night with Seth Meyers will premiere February 24.  Soon-departing Late Night host Jimmy Fallon takes over the Tonight show from Jay Leno on February 17.
