A cold front travels through Wyoming today.  A few scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected along the front, especially in the north and east, later today and tonight.

Ahead of the front, strong, gusty winds are expected in central and southern portions of the state.  The wind and low relative humidity has prompted a Red Flag Warning for most of the southern half of the state through 8pm tonight.  Mainly west winds gusting to 35 mph will be common.

Noticeably cooler temperatures will filter in behind the front for Friday.  Highs will be mainly in the 60s to mid 70s.
