This isn’t the type of ice you’d normally get when dropping a lot of money.

The Stanley Cup champion Chicago Blackhawks are selling melted ice (aka, water) from the United Center for $99. And you thought Evian was overpriced.

Yes, the team skated on the ice. Yes, the money will to charity. And, yes, it’s from the Stanley Cup season, but none of that changes the fact you’ll be paying a benjamin for frozen water.

Fans who don’t want to pony up the cash can take heart knowing they can all the free ice they want after the first snowfall of the season freezes.
