Cheyenne Crosswalk Experiment [Video]

With the improving weather my wife and I have been getting outdoors more. Last week we waited at a crosswalk on Ridge & Cheyenne St. for more than 5 minutes with continuous traffic and nobody stopped. Both directions of Ridge are clearly marked with signs saying "Stop when occupied." 

While traffic wasn't as heavy on Tuesday evening, we thought it would be fun to film how long it took us to cross.

Now I'm certainly not claiming to be a perfect driver, but if you take anything away from this, maybe we can all remember to be just a tad nicer to our fellow "Cheyenneites" on the road. And by the way, even though you weren't going straight, shout out to the guy in the Jeep who actually took time to wave us across!
