Milder temperatures will be found across Wyoming today, but especially so for the eastern half of the state. Cloud cover will also linger across much of eastern Wyoming through the afternoon. Sunshine returns to the state for Friday and the weekend.
A fairly strong cold front is starting to work its way through the state. Clouds, wind and developing showers and thunderstorms will spread through northern and central Wyoming through this afternoon along the front.
There will be plenty of sun, heat and wind to go around the state today. All of this and a low relative humidity will lead to very high to extreme fire dangers in many areas. A good portion of the state is under a Red Flag Warning through 8pm
