All different kinds of people and businesses put together the most eye-catching floats they can and they arm themselves with candy, prizes, and lots of water for the townsfolk. With numerous rides, games, displays, prizes and choices of food, the CWFR continues to prove why it is the destination hot spot for Casper in July. As June winded down and July approached,  Casper natives were worried that because of the different fires plaguing the Rocky Mountain region, the  Fireworks Festival 2012 would be cancelled. You can buy awesome Independence Day swag, get your face painted, get a henna tattoo, and more. What could be better than spending the afternoon and evening with their owners and fellow mutts playing, running, and watching a beautiful fireworks show? Nothing.
