Between July 1st and July 22nd 2014 the Casper Police Department took 34 auto burglary reports. A majority of these auto burglaries occurred on the west side of Casper. Casper Police Department would like to remind citizens to lock their vehicles.

On Friday, June 27th between 9:00am and Noon, someone committed smash and grab auto burglaries in the parking lot of the Casper Recreation Center. Vehicle windows were broken out and valuable items stolen from inside the vehicles.

The driver was possibly a white male with a beard. The driver fled the scene after striking some vehicles and equipment causing thousands of dollar in damages.
