Whether you like it or not, there’s no escaping Parade Day in Casper. Downtown shuts down, traffic is clogged and all you can hear is marching bands and fire engines, but you know what? It’s pretty dang cool, especially if you have little kids… and ESPECIALLY if those kids have a sweet tooth.

One of the biggest things to look forward to in Casper each summer is Parade Day! All different kinds of people and businesses put together the most eye-catching floats they can and they arm themselves with candy, prizes, and lots of water for the townsfolk. Everyone in town seems to come out on Parade Day. Indeed, this tradition seems to grow with each passing year. Check out these pics from Parade Day 2012 and let us know what you thought!
