A new WIN/Gallup International poll shows most people throughout the world say they're happy.

The end of year survey showed an increase to 70 percent of the people involved contend they are happy with life. That's up from 60 percent last year.

Who are the happiest people? That honor goes to Fiji where an astounding 93 percent of people there claim to be happy. On the opposite end of the spectrum just 31 percent of Iraqis say they're happy, making it the least happy place on the planet.

What about Americans? Most are middle of the pack with 61 percent in the U.S. saying they're either very happy or happy.

Most Americans are gloomy with just one in four predicting economic prosperity in 2015 and almost three in 10 anticipating economic difficulty. Forty percent think things will be about the same.
