Steven Tyler and Joe Perry have repeatedly exclaimed the new disc Music From Another Dimension will take the band back to their rock roots.Judging from the responders to our poll the song 'Lover Alot' is on par with the classic sound of Aerosmith. 77% of all taking our poll say the song rocks them like older classics done by the 'Boys from Beantown!'

The disc is due now on November 6th and has undergone some changes as the band works to refine their first release in eleven years.

The band has unveiled a revised track list that differs from the one originally released back in May.  Among the songs newly added to the collection is "Can't Stop Loving You," which features frontman Steven Tyler duetting with country superstar Carrie Underwood.  The band also announced that the tune "Freedom Fighter" will include backing vocals by Johnny Depp.

A deluxe edition will also be released with bonus tracks and other features. There's no shortage of enthusiasm oozing from all the members.

In addition to the standard 15-track version Music from Another Dimension!, Aerosmith will issue a deluxe edition featuring a variety of bonus content, including three extra songs: "Up on a Mountain," "Oasis" and "Sunny Side of Love."  The deluxe package also will boast video of four in-concert performances -- "Oh Yeah," "Rats in the Cellar," "Same Old Song and Dance" and "Train Kept A Rollin" -- as well as interviews with all the band members.

Joe Perry says it's the album they've wanted to record since they got back together  in 1984.

"This is the record that when the five of us are in a room yelling turn up the volume, that room could be 1325 Commonwealth Avenue," referring to the apartment where the band members lived when they penned their first song."

Only time will tell how the project is received by the music buying public and if Aerosmith can re-capture that mo-jo of days gone by. Casper thinks if the rest of the disc matches Lover Alot, then it will be a hit!
