The Casper City Council will revisit the recently-enacted city-wide smoking ban at its work session Tuesday afternoon. Representatives of bars and clubs located within city limits are asking the council to reconsider the ban, which went into effect in September of last year.

Several bar and club owners/operators have submitted documents citing significant declines in revenue from liquor, beer, food and pull-tab sales since the ban went into effect. They also claim bars and clubs located outside of city limits have seen increased traffic since the ban was enacted.

The work session gets underway Tuesday at 4:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers at City Hall.
