On February 26th, almost 1,000 bowlers came out to show their support, and their bowling skills, for the Jason's Friends Foundation. Jason's Friends is an organization that, in their words, "assist(s) Wyoming families with children suffering from brain or spinal cord tumors and childhood cancers by providing advocacy, helping hands, end encouragement in the face of despair.

The foundation, named after Jason Eades, a little boy who passed away from a brain stem tumor, has given time, money, and love to families who are searching for just a little bit of hope. That hope has come in the form of the Jason's Friends Foundation, and it is because of the citizens of Casper that the Foundation has been as successful as it has been. Bowling For Jason's Friends is an annual event that raises more than $200,000 yearly. Teams from all over Casper are assembled to donate time and money, have fun, laugh, and of course, bowl.
