For our list of Wyoming pumpkin patches, we go from Laramie, to Casper, to Sheridan, and Rock Springs.

Around Greater Cheyenne, however, the “pickens” for patches are a little slim. If you’re in Cheyenne, and up for a road trip, here are your places. Visit their websites first to call before you go.

Koltiska’s Pumpkin Patch (Sorry if the Facebook link is still broken.) - Sheridan, WY   A local Sheridan pumpkin patch with a hay ride and petting zoo. It opened in the middle of September at 120 Cat Creek Road, Sheridan, WY. 149 miles north of Casper, WY.

At all of these attractions, nothing is better than picking fresh off the vine. If you’re planning to use your pumpkin for carving, choose one that’s big enough. If it is destined to be a pumpkin pie, grab a good ripe small one.
