At The Wyoming State Penitentiary in Rawlins, the Wyoming Honor Farm in Riverton or any of the Cowboy State correctional facilities housing those who can’t seem to abide by the rules of society, the food is not the highlight of your stay.

It could be different, if it were done the way they’re doing it in Cardiff, Wales, the 12th largest city in the U.K.. That city’s "The Clink" is the top-rated restaurant of all 951 on TripAdvisor. Its a restaurant inside a PRISON.  It's a reasonably priced gourmet restaurant ($15 - $30) that's staffed entirely by inmates to prepare them to get jobs once they get out . . . and apparently, it's fantastic.  Of its 383 reviews on TripAdvisor, 324 people rated it "excellent."

One reviewer said “i love that this restaurant offers people a chance to start again and try and make something of life. the food is excellent and great value for what you get, a chance to sample top end food made by prison inmates at low cost.”

If the Wyoming Medium Correctional Institution in Torrington pioneered this program for the palate, would you patronize them? What other programs would be a smart idea to try?

If Chef Ramsay (CAREFUL – NSFW] were teaching, how long before he would get shanked?
