#22KILL is a program under a veteran nonprofit called Honor Courage Commitment, Inc. The #22KILL initiative is to simply show your ongoing support for the U.S. military and the veterans who have served. Saturday, September 13th, there will be a benefit ride to raise money and awareness for this fantastic organization. The ride will go from Casper to Fremont Canyon, and will wrap up back in Casper at the downtown Sanfords for a charity raffle and concert featuring the music of Casper's own When Eyes Restrict, Eazy Side, and more bands TBA. Tickets for the ride are $20 in advance, or $25 day of, and will include a ticket into the raffle as well as a meal and drink ticket. If you can't make the ride, but still want to enjoy the event party, it will be free to attend. Sponsors include: Pitman Inspection Services, Cathedral Energy Services, Eastgate Travel Plaza, Wind City Dental, and Sandy Wider Farmers Agency.

Raffle items include a Bushmaster AR-15 at 25$ per ticket (limit of 150 will be sold).

According to event organizer Keith Smith:

22 kill is to raise awareness for the 22 vets per day that are committing suicide. They work with vets to help them go to school, be more involved with the community, and help them to start their own veteran ran companies by keeping their businesses in house until they find a building to move them in to. They also assist by helping wounded and disabled vets by building wheel chair ramps and fixing up houses. The company is based out of Dallas Texas.

The ride is still welcoming all sponsors and raffle item donations. It is a non-profit, so anything donated is tax deductible. If you would like more information on the ride, or would be willing to donate a prize and/or sponsor the event, you can contact Keith Smith at 307-251-3497, Kimberly Smith at 307-262-9865, or visit the Facebook event page here.

They were willing to put their lives on the line for our freedom, and all you have to do to show your support is jump on your bike and ride. Help support the vets while enjoying a cruise in beautiful Wyoming!
