Before You Whine About Your Income, WYO Has 7th Highest In Country

Whatever you do for a living in the Cowboy State, you are paid the 7th highest in the nation.

The national average in 2013 was $44,000 and here in Wyoming the average salary is $52,000. Were only behind some Eastern states and of course our liquid gold rival: North Dakota. These are real numbers that are being measured not voodoo.

We had good job growth from 2013 to 2014. Sales and tax collections are ahead of where they were last year as well. So they next time you think the grass is greener on the other side of the hill, maybe it's not. Pretty good job scene here in Wyoming and wages aren't bad.
