Post-Parade Collision Closes Intersection of 1st and Poplar in Casper [PHOTOS]

At least three people were injured, and two horses are dead, following a post-parade collision just west of Casper.

According to Casper Police, just after noon on Tuesday, July 10th, a horse-drawn covered wagon was traveling west-bound on 1st Street, west of Poplar Street, when it was hit from behind by an SUV.

Casper Residents have been experiencing heavy smoke for days from the wildfires burning throughout the state.  While it’s easy to see the smoke from the ground, it’s a whole new perspective when you view it from the air.  K2 Radio’s News Director, Rich Denison, is also a member of the Civil Air Patrol’
