By now, hopefully, word has gotten out that if you stop by the My Country 95.5, Rock 96.7, and Kiss 104.7 vans at the Central Wyoming Fair & Rodeo, you will get free rodeo tickets. This is 100% true! I have seen attempts on Facebook to sell these free tickets. DON'T BUY TICKETS ON FACEBOOK!
The 2013 Central Wyoming Fair & Rodeo Parade in downtown Casper marks a few occasions for Casperites. Parade Day always marks the official kickoff of the Central Wyoming Fair & Rodeo, and it usually falls about mid summer, meaning that it is time to kick summer up a notch and enjoy the remaining time. The 2013 parade was definitely one for the books, with tons of floats, vehicles, dancers, and much much more.
Casper gathered and awaited anxiously for Casper native Aquile to take the stage at the 2013 Fireworks Festival. Darks clouds were rolling in. Just as Aquile took the stage, rain begin to pour from the sky. Usually this means the postponing or cancellation of an event. Not a chance in this case. Aquile played out the brief storm and won. Casper stayed and jammed out despite the soaking rain. I believe that is the definition of "true" fans. Check out Aquile dominating the stage on the 4th of July.
The 2013 Fireworks Festival was in full swing when Wyoming favorite Jalan Crossland took the stage. Jalan Crossland is one of a very few “alt country” artists who still claims the “country” as home. Check out Crossland dazzling the crowd of the festival.
The clouds opened up on the 2013 Fireworks Festival and tried to soak the festival goers. The music played on and those who decided to tough it rocked out to the sounds of Aquile. Others who decided being wet wasn't for them, including myself, took shelter where ever they could find it.
Mother nature has made an attempt to put a damper on the festivities at the 2013 Fireworks Festival. Luckily, Casper knows how to handle the weather. Fans gather anxiously to watch NBC's The Voice contestant and local hometown hero Aquile despite the dark clouds and threat of rain.
The 2013 Fireworks Festival is live and kicking at the Caspe Events Center. The crowds are flocking in and there is tons of awesome stuff up for grabs. Anything you may want or need is available on the festival grounds from food to clothing, you name it. Here are some of the great vendors to check out at the festival.
The Telluride Bluegrass Festival in Colorado is one of the most well known bluegrass festivals in the country. Around those parts Sam Bush is known as "The King of Telluride". Unlike most royalty, this king's throne is a stage and his scepter is a mandolin.
