High pressure overhead will keep the storm track and the precipitation well to our north. As no fronts or weather systems are expected between now and Friday, conditions will stay dry throughout the state
As a cold front drifts through today, temperatures will be cooler in the central and southern portions of the state. Unfortunately, it does not look like there will be much in the way of precipitation for those areas
The cold front from yesterday has brought in cooler temperatures and a mainly dry air mass. The southeast corner of the state could see a small light shower or isolated thunderstorm perhaps later today
Hot and dry high pressure will be positioned over Wyoming and the Rocky Mountain West through at least mid-week. As a result, our weather conditions will be just that and we may even see some record highs on Tuesday and Wednesday
It will be a warm, toasty day across the state with highs in the upper 70s to the mid 90s. Along with the heat, west to southwest winds will pick up in portions of the state leading to continued very high to extreme fire dangers
