Gusty winds and much colder temperatures will stay with us here in Casper and for much of Wyoming through today and tonight.  Areas of light rain and snow showers will also continue for central, southern and southeastern Wyoming. 

Weather conditions will remain unseasonably warm, dry and rather windy for Casper and Wyoming through Saturday.  Look for western Wyoming to turn cooler on Sunday with developing rain and snow showers.

Mother Nature will be bringing in some fantastic early spring weather to the entire state now through the weekend.  With high pressure firmly in place there will be plenty of sun and well above average temperatures. 

One really could not ask for much better weather.  Statewide it will be partly cloudy to sunny and temperatures will warm to above average levels today through Saturday.  The only hint of precipitation may be a few very light showers or mixed showers in the far northwest on Friday, otherwise conditions will stay dry.

Spring 2012 will start on a quiet note on the weather front.  The northwest mountains could pick up some light snow or mixed showers today, otherwise it will be another dry day statewide.   More moisture in the form of mixed showers and wet snow is expected in the northwest on Wednesday.

A cold front has brought cooler, more seasonal, temperatures to the state today.  As has been the case recently, snow showers and mixed showers continue in the west, but finally some of this moisture will have a chance to spread east. 

High pressure will continue to dominate our weather for the next couple of days.  That means more sunshine and well above average temperatures across much of the state.   Highs in Casper will be in the upper 60s and lower 70s. Â

Above average temperatures will persist across central and eastern Wyoming for the rest of the today, tomorrow and Friday.  High pressure will bring us decent sunshine and dry conditions as well.  It will feel more like late spring and early summer surrounding the Casper area.
