‘Transformers 4′ Poster Reveals Official Title, ‘Age of Extinction’
Yesterday we confirmed that the Dinobots, those transformers that also turned into dinosaurs, would be in 'Transformers 4.' What we didn't know then is how big a role they'd play and with the film's new title, it seems they're going to be a big focal point. 'Transformers 4' is now officially titled 'Transformers: Age of Extinction.'
‘Thor 2′ Offers its First TV Spot
For the most part, comic book movies have stuck to summer release dates of late, so it will be interesting to see how 'Thor: The Dark World' fares this November. But of all the superheroes, Thor seems the most autumnal (perhaps it's the thunder). But we've now got the film's first TV spot, as the film opens in a little over two months.
‘Scooby Doo’ to be Reanimated as a Feature Length Cartoon
Nostalgia strikes again! 'Scooby Doo,' the Saturday morning cartoon show that generated two live action movies (and then two TV movies), will be coming back to theaters, but this time as an animated film. So no Freddie Prinze Jr. in this one (sorry, Freddie Prinze Jr.).
Joss Whedon Throws His Supports Behind New Batman Ben Affleck
Though there is a sense of rivalry between the DC and Marvel movie universes (or at least jealously, which seems the only reason Warner Brothers was so desperate to make 'Justice League'), the people behind these films have no ill will towards their supposed competitors. 'Avengers' director Joss Whedon -- after a day where many disparaged the casting of Ben Affleck as the new Batman -- has thrown
Watch Ben Affleck Before He’s Batman in a ‘Runner Runner’ Clip
As you may now know, Ben Affleck was just cast as Batman in the upcoming 'Man of Steel' Sequel. And the makers of 'Runner Runner' couldn't let this buzz opportunity go, so they've just released a clip from the film that is very Affleck-centric to maybe get more people to see the film. He is Batman now, so who's to say?
‘Pompeii’ Trailer: ‘Game of Thrones’ Star Kit Harington is Ready to Gladiate
Though it's obviously a teaser, this first trailer for Paul W.S. Anderson's 'Pompeii' promises two things: a ripped and ready Kit Harington (aka Jon Snow from 'Game of Thrones'), and plenty of CGI-enhanced action.
Neill Blomkamp’s ‘Chappie’ Dated for Spring 2015
While it took Neill Blomkamp four years to follow up 2009's 'District 9' with this year's 'Elysium,' he's not going to wait as long for his third feature. 'Chappie,' which will star Sharlto Copley, is now set to be released on March 27, 2015.
Peter Jackson Chats With Edgar Wright, Simon Pegg and Nick Frost About ‘The World’s End,’ Plus New Clips!
Though it seems that Peter Jackson doesn't appear in 'The World's End' as he did in 'Hot Fuzz' -- he must have been a little too busy with those 'Hobbit' movies -- he's still friendly with director Edgar Wright, and stars Simon Pegg and Nick Frost (they did all work on 'Tintin' together). For the release of 'The World's End' Jackson has sat down with the three to have a chat about the movie.

The latest stills to hit are character portraits that highlight Hugh Jackman's new friends and foes in the film.
‘Captain Planet and the Planeteers’ Movie is in the Works
'Captain Planet and the Planeteers' was a mildly popular, environmentally-friendly cartoon that ran from 1990 through 1996. And like so many childhood favorites it is being shopped around as a possible new movie franchise. Sony has taken the bait, and are working on turning the cartoon into a feature length film.
‘Independence Day 2′ Dated for 2015 and More Fox Schedule Changes
Fox has begun slot-calling their summer schedule for the next two years, which makes them conservative compared to Marvel and Sony. 'Independence Day 2' has officially been dated for July 3, 2015, among other changes and updates to their schedule.
