Saturday, May 19th from 9am  'til noon is the annual Platte River Parkway Trust trail clean up date,in partenership with the City of Casper's Keep Casper Beautiful and Cameco Resources as the sponsor.

Volunteers and individuals are encourged to come out and get the riverfront trail, and other community trails ready for the busy summer season. Volunteers are asked to meet in the west parking lot of the Tate Pumphouse Trail Center no later than 8:50 on Saturday May 19th.

Clean-up supplies will be distributed and volunteers assigned to a particular section of trail to be cleaned over a couple of hours that benefits the whole Casper community.

Parkway Board President Eric Easton has participated in the annual Parkway clean-up for over a decade.  “Last year we had over 125 folks volunteer a couple of hours of their time to help clean up our community trails.  This is a great opportunity to clean up all of the litter and debris that has accumulated over the long winter months so the trails are in great shape for summer and all of the events that occur along the trails, such as the Casper Marathon scheduled for Sunday, June 3rd.”
